Stefania's background

Stefania Luciani Binnick is an American artist born in Philadelphia. As a child Stefania worked the land, tended the animals, and played in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Stefania has a university education in art, foreign languages, and literature. Her Master of Fine Arts degree is from the University of Pennsylvania in 1987. She works in art, and foreign languages in the United States and abroad. In Mexico, Stefania served in an underdeveloped area to establish a summer youth program teaching arts, sports, and English. She has lived, studied, and worked in the United States, Italy, Spain and France. In 1995 Stefania's work was part of an exchange exhibition of women artists of Florence, Italy and Philadelphia, United States.
